Navajo Heritage Teas — Cota & Ephedra

Experience the rich herbal traditions of the Southwest with our Navajo Heritage Teas, featuring two timeless brews treasured for generations — Navajo Wild Tea (Cota) and Navajo Ephedra Tea (Tloh Azii Hii).

Hand-harvested in New Mexico, these naturally caffeine-free teas are rooted in centuries of tradition among the Navajo and neighboring Indigenous communities. Cota, known for its smooth, roasted flavor and gentle sweetness, has long been enjoyed as a daily tea and after-meal companion. Ephedra, or Mormon Tea, offers a clean, earthy taste and a sense of balance drawn from the desert itself.

Each cup reflects a deep connection between people and place — honoring the landscapes, practices, and plants that have sustained life in the high desert for generations.

Packaged in 14 unbleached, hand-sewn tea bags, these teas invite you to savor a quiet moment of reflection, connect with the land, and celebrate the enduring herbal wisdom of the Southwest.

Packaged in 14 unbleached, hand-sewn tea bags, this tea provides a simple yet meaningful way to enjoy the flavors of the Southwest’s natural bounty. Perfect for a calming evening ritual or a moment of reflection.
