Lavender Blooms Are On the Horizon – Farm Update

It’s an exciting time at Figments Lavender Farm!  Our lavender plants from last year are doing wonderfully and are just about to explode into incredible-smelling blooms. I can already smell the lovely fragrance in the air, and I can’t wait to start drying some in bundles, distilling others for essential oils, and of course, drying some for our tea blends.

The new field is looking fantastic, too! We’ve planted 775 lavender plants so far across 5 different varieties, and they’re loving the sunshine. The little plants are getting their roots well established. Unfortunately, one variety will have to wait until next spring due to availability, but the rest are doing beautifully.

In addition to the lavender, we’ve also been busy with herbs. I’m beginning to harvest some that I’ll be using in our upcoming lavender products, such as lotions, salves, and bath soaks—all formulated with natural ingredients to help you feel good and pampered.

A huge thank you to Jeremy & Nelda & Corry for helping move over 150 tons of gravel and laying down weed screen – it’s looking great and we’re excited for all that’s to come!
